Map Skills

One of the things I find basic or easy about map skills would have to be the names of the continents and oceans. When I really practice can be easy to memorize. One of the things that that was kind of difficult for me would have to be coordinates. I thought it was like a basic map grid, but it's actually different in some ways, like the lines aren't straight and there is north, south, west, and east. Basic map skills are necessary sometimes, even though nowadays we have siri and google maps, they are important to know because let's say you're traveling, you go to a new country. It's important to know its name right? And coordinates are used in the military, if you ever want to help our country those are important to know. And knowing north, south, east, And west are very important to if you get lost. And let's say your hiking but your phone dies. All you have is a map. You need to know how to use it to get out of the woods. That's my summary of basic map skills reflection.
